DAVID BECKHAM has slammed Manchester United's players for their "disrespectful" actions on and off the pitch.

The former England captain, 50, spent more than a decade at Old Trafford and does not believe the club's badge has been represented in the correct way.

And his comments come as United are closing in on signing Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, who was banned for four matches for a headbutt last season, three months after serving a two-match suspension for misconduct.

Beckham's criticism appeared to be targeted at United wingers Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho following incidents that occurred during the club's post-season tour of Asia.
