MEN have £20,000 more than women to fund their retirement.

A survey of over-50s found men have an average pot of £63,222 tucked away for when they finish work, while women have only £43,117.
More than half of women are worried they won’t be able to afford the retirement they had always hoped for, compared to 44% of men.
