ROBIN ROEFS heads to Old Trafford with in-form Sun- derland already hailed as one of the bargains of the summer transfer window.
The Black Cats' bold recruitment drive is bearing fruit, with Regis Le Bris' side unbeaten in four games and tipped to snatch only their second league win at Manchester United since 1968.
Roefs (inset) is one of several new arrivals to hit the ground running, with Le Bris convinced that Sunderland struck gold when they paid just £10m for the former NEC Nijmegen goalkeeper. "Our recruitment team was aware of him, but for me, I discovered Robin in the summer," said the Frenchman.
"And when I analysed his profile, it was clear that he was one of the best I've ever seen during this transfer window.
