EARTH is set to become a planet of the droids - with 10billion of them worldwide by 2040.
A tech giant predicts a surge in humanoid robots will change lives forever, with more than 250,000 produced by 2030.
Brett Adcock, head of Figure AI, said the machines will have arms and legs and perform all the tasks folk do not want to do themselves.
