BY DAVID ANDERSON SCOTT PARKER insists he is a much better coach now than when he was sacked by Bournemouth after he last faced Liverpool three years ago.

Parker was axed by the Cherries just four games into the Premier League season following a 9-0 loss at Anfield (below).

He won a third promotion to the top flight in five years with Burnley in May and says he has more knowledge and experience.

“I see myself as definitely better as a coach than that version,” said the Clarets boss.

“That comes with experience and knowledge and just keep understanding certain things.

“I'm a little bit wiser from the last time.”

Parker fell out with the Cherries because he did not feel they backed him in the transfer market and he is delighted Burnley have spent a record £112m since winning promotion.
