RECENTLY, during a cheeky drink around the Christmas tree with my fella’s mum she let it slip that he’s been engaged FIVE times.
I nearly choked on my Baileys...Apparently, he proposed to his first girlfriend at 17. They were together for three further years before he cheated on her and called off the engagement by postcard.
Since then, he has asked FOUR more women to marry him. One engagement went all the way up to a wedding before he got cold feet and stood up his poor bride-to-be at the altar.
I'm still reeling from this news. The thing is he has never mentioned any ex-lovers during the 18 months we've been together. He’s always preferred to keep his dating history a secret.
