MO EXIT IS STORMING

Salah's double send off to AFCON
THE wind and rain hammered Anfield but the Liverpool storm and Mo Salah finally broke Newcastle’s defences.
It took chance after chance to be wasted or saved by the impressive Martin Dubravka in the Magpies goal and response after conceding an equaliser, but the Reds got there in the end.
Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo got the second and third to condemn Eddie Howe’s side to a third successive Premier League defeat.
But this was as much down to the perseverance and brilliance of Salah in a six-goal thriller. Salah got the opener after missing a penalty before Alexander Isak levelled the game and then he atoned for his spot-kick by scoring another late on.
It ended any hope of a Newcastle fightback after Sven Botman’s header had made it 3-2.
Salah was pivotal in the lead-up to Diogo Jota teeing up Jones before he then put in a superb cross with the outside of his boot to set up Gakpo.
