Marquand and Haggas to steal show at Ascot
Daily Star
|October 03, 2025
ARABIAN FORCE (4.05, nb) looks the class act at Ascot today.
William Haggas' (below) colt produced a career best when flying home to be third in the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York's Ebor meeting.
He was only beaten a length and had both Derby winner Lambourn and St Leger third Stay True behind him.
The extra two furlongs of today's BetMGM Sir Noel Murless Stakes - a Listed race - should be ideal for the son of Lope De Vega who is 8lb clear of his rivals on official ratings.
The progressive Push The Limit is the biggest danger to Arabian Force.
