LUKE LITTLER stormed to his first Ladbrokes UK Open title in a final more one-sided than a postage stamp.

After destroying James Wade 11-2 at Butlin's in Minehead and landing his fifth TV major at just 18 years old, 'Luke the Nuke' took his first ticker-tape shower since being crowned PDC world champion at Alexandra Palace two months ago.

Dancing on stage to his Pitbull anthem, Littler's £110,000 pay cheque is a step towards his ultimate goal of becoming No.1 in the world.

Littler joked: "These trophies don't get any lighter - but I had a job to do, I just wanted to pick up this trophy and I can tick it off the list.
