Photo unveiled 50 years after nanny's killing A LEAD pipe allegedly used by Lord Lucan to murder his family nanny has been revealed 50 years after her death.
It is seen lying on a bloodstained mailbag in which the body of 29-year-old nanny Sandra Rivett was hidden after the alleged attack.
The photo was taken 41 years ago in Scotland Yard's Black Museum.
The BBC is running three documentaries this week examining whether Lucan, who would now be 89, managed to escape the UK to live in Australia with the help of rich friends.
