Kroldrup was brutally honest about his sticky Toffee time

PREMIER LEAGUE footballers are not renowned for their honesty - but Per Kroldrup breaks the mould in that respect.

The Danish defender was signed by Everton boss David Moyes (left, with Kroldrup) for £5m from Udinese in 2005 and much was expected of him.

He was coming from the ancestral home of rock-solid defending - if he could hack it in Serie A, he could handle it in England.
