De Bruyne kills off Welsh fightback
CRAIG BELLAMY’S unbeaten run as Wales boss was brought to a dramatic end in Brussels.
Bellamy (inset) had not suffered defeat since being appointed head coach last July, going nine games unbeaten.
And it looked like it was going to be 10 in a row when the visitors fought back from 3-0 down to level against Belgium, but Kevin De Bruyne broke Welsh hearts late on.
Romelu Lukaku had given the hosts the lead from the penalty spot after Brennan Johnson was harshly adjudged to have handled with Youri Tielemans swiftly doubling the lead.
Belgium were 3-0 up inside half an hour as Jeremy Doku got in on the act.
