Sub Hinshelwood wins it with his first touch
ARNE SLOT went on holiday to Ibiza last week and some of his players took a brief break in Dubai.
And Liverpool were very much in party mode for the final away game of their title-winning season as they led twice before succumbing to a late winner from supersub Jack Hinshelwood, who scored with his first touch within 78 seconds of coming on.
Albion gave the new champions a guard of honour on to the pitch and then the freedom of the Amex Stadium for the opening quarter.
Harvey Ellliott - from an assist by Conor Bradley - and Dominik Szoboszlai netted in the first half around Yasin Ayari's first equaliser.
But Kaoru Mitoma came off the bench to score Brighton’s second goal before a VAR review granted Hinshelwood the late winner after it was initially ruled out for offside.
Fabian Hurzeler’s side have now scored 14 goals in the last 10 minutes of Premier League matches.
