Toffees boss will take it Greal slow

JACK GREALISH will be dripfed into the Everton starting line-up because David Moyes does not want to over-burden his box-office summer signing with pressure.

Grealish played 20 minutes off the bench in the 1-0 defeat at Leeds on Monday evening in a subs' role which became all too familiar to him at Manchester City.

After moving on loan to Everton for the season, the assumption of many was that he would be involved from the start but Moyes wants to be cautious with the 29-year-old.

The Everton manager does not think instant messiah status would be best for him at this time.
