Mart defiant as Celtic - and Gers - blow chance to turn up the title heat on Hearts

- MARTIN O'NEILL

HOOPS

MARTIN O'NEILL feels CELTIC are still in the Scottish Premiership title race - despite being beaten by HIBERNIAN.

Celtic are now six points behind leaders Hearts, with RANGERS sandwiched between the two sides after Gers came from two goals down to draw at LIVINGSTON.

Ten-man Celtic lost to an 87th-minute goal from Kai Andrews after Auston Trusty had received a VAR-assisted red card for an off-the-ball incident.

But Hoops boss O'Neill was upbeat, saying: "It's a setback, that's all it is. We're still in the race.

"I thought we were absolutely terrific. The players put heart and soul into the game.

"No complaints on that side whatsoever."
