Galeno's late stunner floors Arteta
-

ARSENAL failed to convince as European heavyweights as they suffered a last-gasp defeat.
Porto's Brazilian star Galeno hit a spectacular 94th-minute winner to leave Arsenal cursing a negative approach and Mikel Arteta (left) eating his words.
The Gunners boss had talked in the build-up about putting Arsenal back on the map in the Champions League but he did it with the exact opposite of their gung-ho tactics in the Premier League.
After smashing 21 goals in their last five Premier League games, they drew a blank and did not even manage a shot on target.
Instead, Porto's Galeno curled a stunning winner with the defence standing off and watching him fire in from 25 yards.
It brought the whole Estadio do Dragao to life and while Arsenal must fancy themselves turning the tie around, it is a serious blow to their momentum.
Arteta's game plan was clear - keep it tight, do not lose the first leg and get back to the Emirates where they should fancy their chances.
