LEWIS HAMILTON has vowed to learn Italian so he can communicate with the Ferrari fans who are “dying” to see him succeed.
The Brit, 40, has taken lessons but has yet to manage to string more than a few words together in the native tongue of Ferrari’s homeland.
Regardless, he is already adored by Italian fans, who roared their approval as he and team-mate Charles Leclerc took Formula One machinery for a spin at a sponsor event on the streets of Milan on Thursday.
After delighting those 35,000 Tifosi, Hamilton expressed a desire to form an even closer bond with Ferrari fans.
