BANK holidays always sound great.

But the reality of living in a country with a climate like ours is they are so often either complete washouts or miserably grey.

So it’s with great relief and some surprise we can report that today is set to be an absolute belter.

It seems the weather gods have saved up blue skies and balmy temperatures for us to see out the summer with.

Forecasters reckon it could even be hotter than Morocco.
