Bloomfield aims to fix his blitzed cup dream
MATT BLOOMFIELD has told his Wycombe players an upset is possible tonight even though his last Aston Villa League Cup dream turned into a nightmare.
The Chairboys manager, 40 (inset) was part of the Buckinghamshire side's midfield when they went toe-totoe with Aston Villa at this very stage of the competition 19 years ago.
Wycombe were incredibly 3-1 up against David O'Leary's men at the break before Villa ran riot with SEVEN second-half goals to eventually triumph 8-3.
