FAB'S PLAYING DOWN DAN CALL

FABIAN HURZELER has shrugged off speculation about an England recall for Danny Welbeck after the striker maintained his fine form with two goals in last week's win over Newcastle.

Brighton boss Hurzeler stressed that Welbeck’s main priority is to help maintain the Seagulls’ impressive form, with a win at Old Trafford this evening potentially taking them into the top six.

“I haven't talked to Danny about that,” said Hurzeler.

“I'm sure he's only focused on performing well. That's all he can influence - the rest isn’t in his hands.
