ENEA'S SEPANG SURPRISE
Daily Star
|November 13, 2023
ITALY'S Enea Bastianini powered to his first MotoGP win of the year in Malaysia yesterday, as team-mate Pecco Bagnaia boosted his championship lead.
The Ducati Lenovo rider beat Saturday's winner Alex Marquez with a lights-to-flag victory at Sepang, while countryman Bagnaia took third in Malaysia.
After a season dogged by injury, Bastianini (inset) was back on form, hitting the front at turn one as polesitter Bagnaia and title rival Jorge Martin both ran wide.
