Ed boy is top class

NOT just a popstar, Ed Sheeran has turned Education Secretary too after successfully getting the Government to update the music curriculum in England for the first time in 10 years.

The star wrote an open letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer in March calling for more investment in music talent and improving the state of music education.

Ed - who launched his foundation at the start of the year to ensure music remains an integral part of every child's education - had claimed the arts were “slipping through the cracks”.
