Racing chief in defiant message
THE Jockey Club will "absolutely everything" to make sure Saturday's Betfred Derby goes ahead as planned.
Pressure group Animal Rising, whose protests delayed the running of the Grand National by 14 minutes, aims to field up to 1,000 activists in a bid to disrupt the colts' Classic.
Animal Rising vowed to defy a High Court injunction granted to Epsom's owners last Friday, but Jockey Club chief executive Nevin Truesdale is in defiant mood.
