NFL: SUPER BOWL COUNTDOWN
SAM DARNOLD bounced around the NFL for seven years, shown the door by four different teams.
But after he led the Seattle Seahawks into Super Bow! LX by beating the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Mike Macdonald said his redemption story was now written and his critics put to the sword.
“You can't talk about the game without talking about our quarterback,” Macdonald (right) said of Darnold, who had been fighting injury all week.
“He shut a lot of people up tonight, so I'm really happy for him.
