COPS START NEW MADDIE SEARCH

NEW searches will begin today near the spot where three-year-old Madeleine McCann was last seen.

Land, wells and a cottage close to the Portuguese holiday resort from where the tot vanished will be scoured by cops.

A well-placed Portuguese source said: “The main objective is to look for any signs of Madeleine's body.”

German police are said to have requested the searches - the first for more than two years.
