Careful as coughing up

KENNEL cough cases are on the rise as dogs stay indoors more. And while rarely deadly, it is highly con- tagious and sometimes causes complications.

Dogs can catch the respiratory infection through cough droplets, direct contact or contaminated surfaces.

Signs to watch out for include sneezing, a runny nose, mild lethargy and reduced appetite.
