MARO ITOJE insisted he would not be the player he is today without the mentorship of Jamie George for the last dozen years.

Hooker George, who will lead England out against Italy tomorrow as he celebrates his 100th cap, put an arm round a young Itoje at Saracens.
Itoje has recognised George's influence as the former captain’s number is still saved on his mobile as ‘Jamie Under His Wing’ which the lock reckons is still true.
Itoje has gone on to be a two-time Lion, win three European Cups and a Grand Slam, plus succeed George as England captain, and he says that is down to the influence of the front rower.
The 30-year-old said: “I haven't changed what he saved his number as. It’s ‘Jamie Under His Wing’. He helped me, gave me words of advice.
“He also set the standard. Despite his appearance, he is an incredibly athletic player - fit, strong.
