GARY Kemp only let his little brother Martin join the New Romantic group Spandau Ballet because their mum told him to, as the Daily Star revealed yesterday.

The guitarist added that the rest of the band became sick of bassist Martin “getting all the girls”. But they aren’t the only male siblings who have put their relationship to the test through the roller-coaster of a musical career, as JAMES MOORE reveals...

FRATERNAL FEUD:They may have reformed after splitting in 2009, but Oasis duo Noel and Liam Gallagher have often fought like rats in a sack. Liam once hit Noel over the head with a tambourine, while Noel took a cricket bat to his younger brother. Liam has said of Noel that he'd had “more fun with a tin of sardines”. Noel reckoned Liam was a “man with a fork in a world of soup.”
