Former Rose Jo has 'insider knowledge' to help the Aussies beat England
RED ROSES legend Sarah Hunter has warned England to beware of Australian inside knowledge ahead of today’s clash in Brighton.
The Wallaroos are headed up by former England scrumhalf Jo Yapp, who has coached 13 of the 23 home match-day squad players at England Under-20s or club level earlier in their careers.
Yapp headed Down Under in 2024 to take the Aussie job after her Professional Women’s Rugby club Worcester went bust a year earlier but will head home after this World Cup.
trained by Yapp in the past. And Hunter, a World Cup-winning No.8 in 2014 but now an assistant coach under John Mitchell, insists her side should be on guard against Yapp’s insider info.
