A winner at York in May, Ruth Carr's (right) sprinter has equipped himself well in decent handicaps since without winning.

He turned in a rare below-par run last time when sent off favourite for Great St Wilfrid on the back of an excellent closeup fourth to the useful Elmonjed in a hot York handicap. But given his solid profile, he looks the type to bounce back and is still on a potentially dangerous mark.
