BALDRICK actor Sir Tony Robinson says a cunning plan for Britain to combat climate change with turnips is “fascinating”.
The root vegetable, adored by Tony’s character in Blackadder, is set to become a vital tool in the battle against global warming due to its ability to thrive and adapt in all conditions.
The actor, who played Blackadder’s manservant for 17 years, was stunned to learn of his character’s favourite grub’s importance in a podcast chat with food historian Rebecca Earle.
