In-form Bees double act are firing them closer to Europe

BRYAN MBEUMO and Yoane Wissa have gobbled up well over half of Brentford's Premier League goals between them this season.

But by no means have they let their teammates go hungry.

Midfield creator Mikkel Damsgaard is overjoyed to have the in-form pair relentlessly running behind the last line of defence or finding space in the box.

It has helped him rack up 10 league assists this campaign more than Bruno Fernandes, Cole Palmer and Kevin De Bruyne.

Although Damsgaard didn't add to that tally against Brighton, it was still clear to him that after Mbeumo's brace and Wissa's 16th goal of the season, one of the division's most fearsome pairings is serving everyone in red and white. He said: "They are on fire. They're just such talented, good players, and I've also got to praise their hard work for the team.
