FORMER darts boy wonder Leighton Bennett has been slapped with a monster eight-year ban after being found guilty of match-fixing.

'Boom Boom' Bennett, 18, became the nowdefunct BDO's youngest youth world champion as a 13-year-old in 2019.

He looked destined for greatness after beating Phil 'The Power' Taylor at the SAP Darts Slam in Frankfurt the same year.

And after winning a Tour card on the PDC circuit last January, he vowed to rival fellow teenage sensation Luke Littler.
