Daily Star Sunday
|October 12, 2025
THOMAS TUCHEL has already proven he will do things his way as England manager and needs to stay single-minded in his approach to the World Cup next summer.
That's the view of Three Lions legend Chris Waddle, who has been impressed with the German manager's willingness to lay his cards on the table since taking over the England side.
Tuchel's men cruised to a 3-0 friendly win over Wales on Thursday night with a much-changed side from September's World Cup qualifiers.
Ahead of Tuesday's qualifier in Latvia, Waddle - who won 62 caps between 1985 and 1991gave his assessment of Tuchel so far.
