PHIL PARKINSON admits Wrexham were never going to find Championship life easy after assembling almost a completely new team.
The Red Dragons dropped to 21st despite splashing £33million on 13 players this summer.
"We've changed the squad around completely," said Parkinson, after watching his side be thoroughly outplayed by a rejuvenated QPR.
"There was always going to be a period at the start where it doesn't go completely as you'd want it."
