KDH: I'd be real Glee Lion TOFFEES STAR OUT TO MAKE ENGLAND 'DREAM' A REALITY
Daily Star Sunday
|October 26, 2025
EVERTON playmaker Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has revealed his dream is to play for England.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed an excellent start on Merseyside, quickly becoming a key component in David Moyes' new-look team since his summer move from Chelsea.
That form led to a surge in calls for the Republic of Ireland to convince him to commit to them during the most recent international break.
Those efforts are not new - Dewsbury-Hall grew up in Leicestershire but is eligible to play alongside Everton teammates Seamus Coleman and Jake O'Brien through his grandparents, and the Irish FA has courted him for years.
Now, for the first time, Dewsbury-Hall is willing to go on the record with his stance - a decision he said he made because he wanted to show his respect for those hoping he would sign up to play for Heimir Hallgrimsson's team.
