The visitors and defending Bundesliga champions appeared to be strolling to victory early in the second half.
Serge Gnabry gave Bayern a first-half lead when he latched onto Kane's through ball and in stoppage time, former Liverpool winger, Luis Diaz, made it 2-0.
Three minutes into the second half Kane (above) set up ex-Palace star, Michael Olise, to make it 3-0.
But eight minutes into the second half Kristijan Jakic scored and with 14 minutes left he turned provider to set up Mert Komur to make it 3-2.
