HULL KR'S hopes of securing the League Leaders’ Shield were emphatically shut down by Wakefield.

The Robins needed a win to confirm top spot but found themselves 26-0 down at halftime as Trinity, who needed to win their two remaining games to claim the sixth and final playoff spot, were far superior.
Hull KR will still have a chance to clinch the League Leaders’ Shield next week when they host Warrington.
The tone was set inside four minutes as Wakefield ‘opened the scoring.
