Hayden halts any Pomp and glory

PORTSMOUTH'S long wait for an away win went on after Derby came back to draw at Pride Park.

It looked good for the visitors when they took an early lead through Callum Lang but the hosts levelled on the stroke of halftime when Hayden Matthews put the ball into his own net.

Derby manager John Eustace said: “I think it's a great point from the way we went a goal down but we wanted all three.

“Really disappointed we didn’t win the game, for sure."

Portsmouth boss John Mousinho said: "I think it's a good point in the end.

“Obviously the last five or 10 minutes we were hanging on. But not through the whole game.
