LAMINE Yamal scored a stunning goal as part of the first hat-trick of his career moving Barcelona four points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga with a 4-1 defeat of Villarreal.

Yamal (right) broke the deadlock after 28 minutes before making it 2-0 in the 37th minute, cutting in from the right, beating two, before unleashing an unstoppable shot.

Pape Gueye brought Villarreal back into the match four minutes after the break before Yamal got his third in the 69th minute. At 17 years, 230 days, he is the youngest player to score his first hat-trick in La Liga.

Robert Lewandowski made it four at the death.

Real will look to cut the gap when they host Getafe tomorrow.
