HE’S the new king of metal but Ghost’s Tobias Forge is only a spooky frontman by accident.

The masked rocker, back with the band’s sixth LP Skeletá, originally created the project with a different singer in mind.

Tobias said: "Ghost songs that I was writing in 2006, 7, 8, 9, 10 into the recording of Opus (Eponymous in 2010), I wrote them and the vocal lines because I thought that essentially (Swedish rocker) Messiah Marcolin was going to sing on it or someone like him.
