United falling apart but Ten Hag says...
MAN UNITED........1 BRIGHTON..........3
ERIK TEN HAG refused to admit Manchester United are in crisis after suffering a third defeat in four Premier League games as Brighton strolled to a 3-1 win.
And he claimed loud boos from all corners of the stadium when he substituted Rasmus Hojlund to bring on Anthony Martial was a boost for the £72million Danish new boy - and not a downer against the French striker.
United found themselves a goal down at half-time after old boy Danny Welbeck struck before Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro made it 3-0, with a spectacular strike from young Old Trafford star Hannibal a late consolation for Ten Hag and his men. "Crisis is not a fair word about where we are," the United boss said.
