TALE OF TWO KYLES SEES HAMMERS FINISH ON TOP

- BY STEVE JUDGE

KYLE WALKER-PETERS made it back-to-back home wins for West Ham for the first time since October 2024.

And it was partly thanks to Clarets right-back Kyle Walker, who was twice caught out at corners.

The Hammers’ victory over Newcastle last Sunday had been inspired by boss Nuno Espirito Santo getting his players to bring in pics of themselves as kids.

This time they were helped out by a 35-year-old making schoolboy errors. Zian Flem-ming had given Burnley a deserved 34th-minute lead, but that was cancelled out when Walker played Crysencio Summerville onside before Callum Wilson levelled.
