AI “landlords” will soon be running Britain’s boozers, say boffins.

Hospitality bosses are experimenting with a new form of “self-aware” artificial intelligence tech called “agentic AI”.

The autonomous system can plan and make decisions, such as hiring staff, organising rotas and ordering beer.

Pub chiefs hope it will let traditional publicans - like comic Al Murray's Pub Landlord - remain a friendly face for customers while bots do the admin.
