READY TO DELIVER Wilson backs himself to succeed at Hammers
-
CALLUM WILSON has pleaded with West Ham fans to “forgive and forget” after his controversial signing on a one-year contract.
Wilson, 33, has joined the Hammers as a free agent after failing to agree a new deal at Newcastle, where he scored 49 goals in 130 appearances during an injury-hit five seasons.
But the England international’s arrival has been met with mixed reaction from West Ham fans, many feeling he has disrespected the club in the past.
Wilson has scored more times against West Ham than any other club during his career, with 12 goals in 16 appearances.
