WHY DO YOU HAVE £80M SITTING IN BANK AND A LACK OF QUALITY ON THE PITCH?

AN AGM is probably the last thing the Celtic board need right now - with appointing a manager the big priority.

Going in managerless and at odds with a section of the support, there's certainly a strong possi bility of things turning ugly.

We know Dermot Desmond doesn't tend to go to these things so it all depends how Michael Nicholson and Peter Lawwell decide to handle it.

I don't think the board are going anywhere any time soon but if they double down on some of the recent statements from the club, it will go down like a lead balloon.

There has to be a number of issues addressed and questions answered.

An acknowledgement of where they have gone wrong this year would be a start as well. Just a bit of contrition, rather than the previously patronising tones that have come across, basically telling supporters everything is hunky-dory and they know best.

There was some slight hint of taking responsibility when the financial figures came out with Lawwell and Nicholson both admitting mistakes had been made in the transfer market.

Then you look at the Desmond release where it was pretty much all laid at the door of Brendan Rodgers.

These are all things that need to be tackled.

Why did Rodgers resign? We've heard why he could've been sacked but not why he seemingly decided to go.

The overall manager situation has to be explained too. I've said since Rodgers left that the international break was the ideal time to bring a new man in.
