DAN BURN insists Alexander Isak phad the blessing of his teammates to quit Newcastle for Liverpool.
The Swedish striker sparked a summer of turmoil at St James’ Park as he tried to push through his British-record £130million move.
His antics left Toon fans seething but defender Burn revealed the players had no problem with him wanting to leave.
The England international said: “Alex is my mate at the end of the day, so it was a tough situation.
“But I'm glad we're getting a good return on a player we've had and he's getting the move he wanted.
