DYING DAD'S XMAS WITH KID WISH GRANTED
A SCOTS dad with terminal cancer will be reunited with his fiancee and daughter for his “last Christmas” after the Record stepped in.
Adrian O'Grady, 42, has stage four colon cancer and is being treated in hospital in Glasgow.
But his four-year-old daughter Chloe and partner Yanti, who live in Bali, were unable to get to the UK to be with him due to visa issues.
The Record told yesterday how his special plans to spend Christmas over here with his family were in crisis as Chloe's temporary visitor visa had been “stuck in limbo” for several weeks - forcing them to abandon flights five times.
But just hours after the Record shared Adrian's plea, the visa was rubber-stamped.
And an airline has stepped in to ensure the family can make it to Scotland as soon as possible.
