Gaffer won't sign as many players next summer

JIM GOODWIN will look to tweak rather than make huge changes to his Dundee United squad next summer.

The Tannadice boss brought in 14 players before the transfer window closed and signed anew 12-month rolling contract himself on Wednesday.

However, ahead of tomorrow's league visit to Hibs, Goodwin admitted he doesn't expect as much squad turnover next year.

He said: “What we've had to do over the last couple of seasons in terms of the rebuilding, that's been a real challenge for us.

“I suppose, in terms of the volume of players that we had to bring in, you would hope that youre not going to be doing 14 players again next summer.
