Switch for pacy Sidibeh helps to put Saints right

ADAMA SIDIBEH says his Perth position switch has helped give St Johnstone an extra promotion push.

The pacy striker was shifted right by Simo Valakari at halftime against Ayr.

Saints were 2-0 down and feared a third Championship game without a win - but tactical tweaks, including Sidibeh's shift, worked a treat as speed and strength from the Gambian played a part in all four of their second-half goals in a 4-2 win.

Sidibeh, 27, remained there last Saturday as Morton were thrashed 5-0 and he scored his sixth of the campaign.

And he said: "I can't complain wherever the manager plays me. As striker or on the right, I will always do my best for him.

"When he changed those tactics in the second half at Ayr, that really worked. That helped the team get a great win.
